Join our brilliant Front of House team at the Fitzwilliam Museum
We are looking for team players with excellent people skills, a commitment to providing an engaging and exciting visitor experience and a passion for the museum.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors to the Fitzwilliam Museum and will be responsible for providing an excellent welcome, helping our Box Office team and telling visitors more about the collection. We welcome a wide and diverse audience from local school groups and museum aficionados to visiting scholars and tourists from all over the world, who all have different needs and expectations when visiting the museum.
You will ensure high standards of visitor experience while monitoring the collection and remaining aware of any risks to the safety of people or objects. You will assist with visitor flow through our temporary exhibitions and provide information on our exhibits and programme of events.
As part of this role, you will be required to work as part of a seven-day rota which includes weekend working. You will also be expected to work occasional out-of-hours events. There is a requirement to work outside; umbrellas and coats will be provided.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent time keeping essential due to rostering requirements.
Training and Induction will be provided.
