Rosanna Evans
Learning Associate: Schools and Teachers
Rosanna leads the schools and young peoples' programmes at the museum, and is interested in agency, learning with collections and objects, oral histories, and memories of learning. She is also doing a PhD at the University of Leeds and at the Science Museum. Her thesis examines the development of practical work in secondary school science before the introduction of the National Currciulum, the role of educator and learner in practical learning experiences, and how people who did science at school remember their formative scientific experiences.
Rosanna holds an MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and a BA from the University of Leeds in History and English.
